Daniel Oropeza (Venezuela, 1991).He works in the artistic fields of music and visuals. He embraces transdisciplinarity and technology in the generation of contemporary audiovisual practices. His work spans live coding, generative art, glitch art, and sound art.He won first place in the First International Composition Competition of the Cayambis Institute of Latin American Studies in Music (CILASiM) for his work "Six Popular Pieces" for Wind Quintet, and more recently, first place in the Roque Cordero Composition Competition in the solo category for his work "Retracción del presente," for solo flute without accompaniment.His visual work has been exhibited and presented in various countries, including Canada, Mexico, the United States, the Czech Republic, and Panama.
