Greg Nikshumika was born on planet Earth and emerged from the digital underground in the early 2020s. His art journey began behind a camera lens, then shifted towards pixel- and spreadsheet-driven experiments. Greg dreams of seeing his work at the Museum of Modern Art’s office party or pinned up as desktop wallpaper on Gagosian’s admin computer. When he isn’t playing from cells and pixels, you’ll find him roaming the Earth in search of obscure band T-shirts, something to eat and, accidentally profound, bizarre news headlines. He lives and works in a small town just outside a larger city with his delightfully gay husband and a dog.
