His practice focuses on 3D imaging, 3D scanning, and experimental medical imaging, working with laser scanners, medical equipment, and X-ray technology.Long fascinated by the intersections of art, science, and technology, Bilbao’s recent work delves into AI-generated imagery, expanding into the aesthetics of science fiction and horror.His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including Ars Electronica (Linz), Transmediale (Berlin), MIMA Museum (Brussels), and LABoral (Spain).
