Yorgis Kordonis began working with lenses in 2014 to capture the fine details of his paintings through a subjective photographic approach. What began as documentation soon evolved into something unexpected: the photographs revealed entirely new perspectives and narratives.Through years of experimentation, he developed a distinctive creative process that merges physical painting with assemblage, sculptural elements, dramatic lighting, unconventional angles, and macro lenses. This hybrid approach allows deeper layers of meaning to emergeβmeasured in what he calls βinfinite millimeter projections.βAs the artist describes it:βI want my art to make a noise like a terrified animal backed into a cornerβamidst a crisis, with no escape.β
