‘MINORITARIANS’ – ART, IDENTITY & RESISTANCE IN A DIGITAL AGE

Auction Dates & Key Events
Auction Duration: February 18–25, 2025
AuctionOpening: February 18 | 7 PM CET / 1 PM NYC
Auction Concept: ‘MINORITARIANS’
ACCOMPARTS upcoming auction, ‘Minoritarians’, is an artistic investigation into the human figure at the margins of identity, power, and technology. Drawing inspiration from Deleuze & Guattari’s A Thousand Plateaus, the Minortorian is neither a fixed subject nor a stable form—it is a dynamic, hybrid force resisting convention and forging new pathways.
In an era where bodies are shaped as much by algorithms, surveillance, and digital mediation as by physical space, this exhibition challenges traditional representations. Artists are invited to engage with bodily forms that defy categorization—distorted, fragmented, abstracted—creating new visual languages that push against dominant norms.
What does it mean to have a body in an era of hyperconnectivity? Where do we exist when our identities are constantly being tracked, coded, and reduced to data points? Minoritarians examines these tensions, presenting figures that flicker between states—material and immaterial, human and posthuman, hidden and hypervisible.

Auction Philosophy
▼ The Minoritarian & Digital Resistance“There is no universal language, only a dialectic of minor and major.” (Deleuze & Guattari) The minoritarian resists the hegemonic structures that define and confine identity. This auction highlights artists who challenge assimilation, crafting alternative visual and conceptual narratives.
▼ Bodies Beyond BordersIn a digital world where categorization flattens identity, Minoritarians presents bodies as sites of transformation and resistance. These works reject the notion of fixed identity, instead embracing fluidity, multiplicity, and reinvention.
▼ From Hypervisibility to ErasureAs bodies become data points in algorithmic systems, where do we draw the line between self-expression and surveillance? This auction explores the delicate balance between being seen, being consumed, and disappearing entirely.
R.J.:"Minoritarians explores the figuration of instability, distortion and transformation. A site of periphery, it interrogates the representation of the human in an of digital reproduction."
Concept & Gallery Design
The auction unfolds within a digital labyrinth, where viewers step into a shifting, fragmented world. The space is filled with abstracted figures, distorted bodies, and flickering presences—echoing the instability of identity in a hyperconnected yet isolating digital landscape.
Through these works, Minoritarians invite audiences to question what it means to exist in a world where bodies are no longer just physical, but also algorithmic constructs—a space of resistance, mutation, and emergence.
